As managing director, it is my ultimate responsibility to oversee all operations, people, and projects. I lead and co-ordinate the board to ensure we succeed. I am very passionate and motivated for business success. I am also a very competitive person as outside of education I play league and representative hockey and ski race to a high standard.

A-levels: PE, Biology, Chemistry, History. I love cooking, volleyball and rock music. I joined the Young Enterprise team to further my experience of what the world outside of college may have in store for me and to work with some of my best mates!

My name is Alex Stewart and I am the operations director of Dee-Fuse. I’m currently studying biology, chemistry , geography and business. As operations director it’s my responsibility to ensure we produce a great product that meets the high standards we set ourselves amongst the group. My hobbies are all sports including football, tennis and cricket.

As Marketing Director I take responsibility in ensuring that Dee-Fuse look appealing to those looking at the business, using a combination of physical and digital resources to do so. I love to spend my free time outdoors, ranging from being in the mountains climbing, on the coast participating in water-sports or watching motorsports.

I am the Sales Director this means I will seek out customers and drive sales. My goal is to grow the enterprise by achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. In my spare time I like to do water sports such as wakeboarding and sailing.

I am the Company Secretary and I make sure our company is well organised as well as having effective procedures for our meetings to run smoothly. Some of the tasks I get up to are the weekly agendas for our meetings. Outside of school and the company, I have a deep interest in football and like spending time with my nieces and nephews.

My role is to oversee all financial aspects of our company. I will drive the financial plan, keep track of the money for Dee-Fuse and be an active team player within the company. I am currently studying Maths, Physics and Economics. In my spare time, I regularly compete my horse, George, at international level.

I am the Digital Director, this means its my job to develop, host and maintain this website as well as other tasks such as email server management. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and using my programming skills to solve problems I have. For my A-levels I am studying Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics.

I am the Sustainability Director, my job is to ensure that Dee-Fuse act and produce our products in the most environmentally friendly way possible, minimising our impact on the environment. For my A-levels I am studying Geography, Economics, Business and History.

I have the role of Human Resource Director in our Business. This is a question of assisting our Managing Director in organising the team, settling any disputes or concerns and making sure all ideas are taken into account. Currently I am studying English literature, English language, History and Politics at A-levels.
